As expected, Tyler Clippard has been handed his ticket to board the Chris Schroder Express Bus back to Columbus (via Nationals dot com):
The Nationals optioned right-hander Tyler Clippard to Triple-A Columbus on Monday evening and were expected to activate catcher Paul Lo Duca from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.
So, it'll be Garrett Mock getting the call to take Perez's next start on Saturday vs. Texas, right (Mock's last start was Saturday)? And either Casto, Langerhans, or (*gulp*) WiMP getting to ride the Chris Schroder Express Bus to free up a roster spot, with the imminent arrival of everybody's favorite fiery backup catcher/left fielder/first baseman/DH?
