At long last, pitchers and catchers report to camp in beautiful (ok, we know that's a stretch) Viera FLA. The Enquirer suggests staring at the above postcard and repeating "Spring is in the air" over and over again while ignoring the DC forecast for the next two days.




Aren't you glad that our catcher who we had to shut down for the last month of the season is going to be off in the World Baseball Classic? Or that our closer, who put more innings on his young arm than any other closer in MLB will be out pitching full throttle.
Bring on the second half schnide baby!!

What's more surprising to me is that Vidro is still seriously considering playing for Puerto Rico.
And I'm surprised that the sports books in Vegas aren't taking bets on which prominent major leaguer will be the one to go down with a season ending injury during the WBC. You just know it'll happen - the only question is who it'll be.
