We might hire a guy who was 78-84 this year? Sure, that's a 7 game improvement in the win column for the Nats, but that isn't a stellar track record. Just because the Fish caught on fire at the end of the year, and all the young guys on that squad loved playing for him, does that really make Joey our best candidate?
Not too many other people besides this joint are talking about Davey Johnson, makes me think you are on to something...
