Pinella a no-go (surprise, surprise). Girardi, Baker, Pendleton, Cooper, Cora, Peña, & Lasorda remain.
The only surprise is that Pinella isn't bound for The Big Apple (Torre's staying put). Looks like it'll be San Fran or the Cubbies.

Louis wouldn't have been able to last a year in DC after his Tampa experience. I'm not sure which city has worse weather. Both are very humid, but it rains almost every afternoon in Tampa.
I don't know what profile makes for the ideal Nationals manager. He'd have to be very baseball literate, with decent experience, would have to relate to young players very well, and would have to have a strong interest in player development. I guess I'm talking myself into Girardi, though I don't think we have a chance at him.
