It's official (almost): Ramon Ortiz signs 1-year, $3.1 million deal with Twins.
Ace of the 2006 rotation (11-16, 5.57 ERA) will be a #4 or #5 in Minnesota. Think about it.
Hey, he was a pretty damn good pinch runner, too, don't forget.
Love this sub-headline from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune: "The Twins struck a deal with talented but emotional righthander Ramon Ortiz and hope he's his 2002-03 self". Ha ha, right, good luck with that.
