Meanwhile...Brandon Watson called up to replace Fick (bereavement list). Bowden's comments about Watson's 43 game hitting streak were interesting: "So all I know is, he's got a 43-game hitting streak, and anyone who can do that deserves a shot. But it's still against Triple-A pitching, so I say that cautiously. " Jim, does that mean the 15 run beatdown the Tigers layed on your team last night doesn't count because it was against AAA pitching?
