"...[Still, I've got a decision to make whether to go to Alabama or not...But all I know is that we're probably going to go up there on the 24th for a game, and visit with the team, but as far as negotiations go right now, it really hasn't started too heavy right now...but I'm still pretty confident it's going to work out, but it's still gotta come across the board]..."

"Barry Bonds-level eyes" and "Vladimir Guerrero-bat speed and power."
Well Hell Yeah! Who said that? What's not to love?! Sign him up! But wait, there's still that little lingering question of signability for Nats' second round pick Destin Hood... In the video above, from AL dot com (who knew they even had the internet down there), Hood, who has committed to play football for University of Alabama in the Fall, chats about getting picked by the Nats, the (non) status of the negotiations, and mentions that he's coming to Washington on June 24th for a visit (Nats play the Angels that night. Plenty of good seats still available.)
