"I couldn't have scripted it any better."
(Collin Balester, via Washington Times, 7/2/2008)
Nats 9, Marlins 6: BALESTER + BATS + ('PEN - SHELL - MANNING) = WIN!
First time's the charm for Balester (although we're still trying to figure out how he survived the 5th).
Belliard, Dukes, FLop, brought their Fish-beating sticks to Joe Robbie.
Hell freezes over: Paul LoDuca 2-4; Nationals beat Marlins.
Meanwhile...
More good news! Zimmerman took some swings.

Miami is the new "charm city" (take THAT Baltimore, hope you can "read" it [they are also the "city that reads", but not about preventing STDs]).

Dude! You got mentioned on the pregame. I'm jealous. It was funny watching Johnny read it when he got to the word "Flop." You could tell he was thinking, "What the hell?" But he did come out and say, "Flop."

Mike, do you have an off the top of your head transcript?

Interesting -- yeah, I'd like to know if Ray Knight referred to us as "we". Maybe I should start watching the MASN pregame show!
