...Zimm is in.
"Clearly, it's not about stuff or whether he can do it or not. We're going to make the decision on whether it's going to be the best thing for him and for us. Right now, it looks like it will be the best thing for us." (Manny Acta, via Washington Times/Chatter, 3/16/2009)
"I gave up two hits in one inning." (Jordan Zimmermann, via Nationals Journal, 3/16/2009)
Yawn...another scoreless, Spring day for Jordan Zimmermann.
Meanwhile, that other guy who you're not supposed to be thinking about said immediately after his 16-pitch effort today that he felt no pain; while admitting that tomorrow will be the true test:
"I have to hope that it stays this way. [There was] no discomfort at all today. Will it be perfectly fine tomorrow? I don't know. But right now, I'm not too concern about it. This is the first time since early 2007 or '06 that I didn't have any significant discomfort. That's why it's kind of nice." (Shawn Hill, via Nationals dot com, 3/16/2009)
