Another late night underway for the Nats on the West Coast. And for whatever reason, Nationals Enquirer staff will be staying up late to watch, again. Time for the offense to simultaneously wake up and keep us all awake here on the East Coast; seemed like a good time to jump all over Clayton "I'm No J.R." Richard, who, according to the SD Union-Tribune's Padres blog, is taking the mound on the heels of his worst career start as a Padre:
Richard had his poorest outing as a Padre last Thursday night in Atlanta, giving up six runs on nine hits and two walks in just 2 1/3 innings – a span during which he threw 61 pitches.
So far through 3 innings? Zippo. Nothing. Go Natzzzzzzzzzz.....
Meanwhile...

Past a Diving Vidro provides a must-read list of sweeping observations about your Washington Nationals. We're particularly fond of #6; although Nationals Enquirer staff generally vote in favor of Dibble, even though he blocked us from following his tweets.

We liked Chris Needham's treatment of the Brandon Phillips/J.D. Martin
feudsituation better than Chico Harlan's.
