"I was about 80 percent today. I didn't have it cranked up. I really didn't want to push it too hard, but I wanted to push it to show the boys that even though that I was injured, it's good now."

The boxscore says 2 hits, 2 stolen bases for Nyjer Morgan in his triumphant return to Grapefruit League action Thursday night after missing 10 days with a bad hammy. Looks promising!
But it was this little four minute sequence, copied and pasted directly from Mark Zuckerman's Nats Insider running game thread, that (hopefully) sums up the state of Mr. Tony Plush's hamstring a little better:
8:27 p.m.-- Nyjer Morgan beats out a bunt to lead off the bottom of the fifth. Guess that hamstring is just fine, thank you very much.
8:31 p.m.-- And Nyjer just stole second and third bases.
Just hope he remembered to slide feet first.
