(AP Photo. Willie Harris will be the Nationals starting right fielder on Opening Day. Hopefully he locates his glove by then.)
Even Willie Harris agrees! Rizzo was wrong on Dukes:
"I love the guy [Dukes], man. It really is weird. I'm not excited or happy the opportunity came that way. No one ever is. No one ever is happy for one of their friends to get released that way. As a matter of fact, any teammate, you never want to see them get released or hurt."

And now, Willie is the answer in RF; at least for Opening Day:
"What I think is going to happen is, whoever is swinging a hot bat is going to play. That's how it really goes -- no matter what. If you are swinging a hot bat and you are doing everything right -- helping the team win and bringing energy every day -- you are going to play."

But if nobody is swinging a hot bat?
2 weeks to go until Opening Day, and Riggleman names Willie Harris as his Opening Day starter in right field.
And after that? Put the names of Harris, Roger Bernadina, Justin Maxwell, and Mike Morse into a hat and pull one out, Mr. Riggleman.
