(AP Photo. Craig Stammen pretty much locked up the final open spot in the Nationals rotation Tuesday night simply by not being Scott Olsen.)
...Olsen, it isn't.

Progress? Make that, "anything that LOOKS like progress"? That's all "we're" looking for with less than two weeks to go until Opening Day? God help us.
"I feel like I'm close, if I'm not there already."

The numbers don't lie. Scott Olsen's second-to-last Spring Training audition looks like this: 6 R, 12 H, 1 BB, 2 HR, in 4 1/3 innings.
Split and spin it any way you like, but if this is "there", then you're f*cked, Scott. What's that? It's only Spring Training?
Okay, here's the plan: throw Lannan, Marquis, Mock, Livo, and Stammen up against the wall to start the season, and see what sticks.

So...we're back to "Project 60" again???

Oh, and if ¡Livan! sticks to the wall, you know something is wrong. All those Deepin Dots gotta weigh down that Large Tub of Goo sumpin fierce!

Agreed - I guess the idea of actually "throwing" Livo anywhere doesn't really work, huh?

Agreed. Olsen has underperformed. And he's a punk.
