"If we lose a ballgame, they're irritated. They're not happy. They don't just say: 'OK, we'll get 'em tomorrow.' It's not like that. They don't just brush it off. They get irritated by it, and I like the fact they get irritated about losing, ballgames."

Best start in what seems like forever.
But more importantly, The Silver Elvis Wig is on the road*.
Nationals 3, Cubs 2: Make that two games over .500. And that's without Zim?
Luis Atilano ran into some trouble there in the 5th, but it all worked out. His line: 6 IP, 6H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 1 K.
Kennedy (HR), Nieves (Who?), Dunn (HR) pace Nats' four hit "attack".
Blowtorch Bruney worked out of a big jam in the 7th. And of course, Clippard in the 8th, Capps in the 9th. Rinse, wash, repeat.
Let's just hope Clippard's arm doesn't fall off before Strasburg arrives on the scene.
How about that catch by old friend Marlon Byrd?
*RE: The Elvis wig on the road:
The #Elvis wig is on the road. Livan Hernandez wore it on Tuesday and Luis Atilano had it in his locker today.

I'd like to shake the hand of the person responsible for the "Clip 'N Save" moniker. Just fantastic...

Atilano the Hun is clearly making the most of the opportunity he's been given. I love it.
