"It's been a long road trip. That's not a reason to think we shouldn't be scoring runs."

Skid hits four
Cards 6, Nationals 2: Where's the offense? Nats' offense takes another sick day; might take tonight off, too, against Carpenter.
Bad first for Stammen sets the tone.
Desmond's 4-4 night can't offset 0-15 from Guz, Zim, Hammer, Pudge. Morse and Sickly Dunn can't come through with the tying runs on base in the 7th.
Since Thursday's 14 run outburst, they've scored just eight runs in their last four games, just 4-26 with RISP.
Welcome to the Big Leagues, Drew Storen.
Meanwhile...
Thank you, Mr. Angelos! MASN will televise Stephen Strasburg's next two (final?) AAA Games:
- Tonight vs. Rochester on tape delay at 11:30 p.m. following Nats Xtra.
- Sunday vs. Toledo at 5 p.m.

Wasn't Dunn's strike out with two outs? Bernadina's sacrifice for the first out, Morse's pop out for the second and Dunn for the third. You know, I like Morse but last night he twice came up with men on 2nd and 3rd and couldn't do anything.

You're right, Shoshana -- the sentence was just really poorly written on our part. We removed the "with one-out and" part, because it doesn't make any sense. Keep hoping Morse will start hitting, maybe give him time to get comfy after getting called back up...
