Roy OK with D.C.? OK!
"That's the thing about the East - I think it's kind of wide open over there. You got Philadelphia, and Atlanta is coming back and I know Washington is still playing well. It should be a good race. That's the big thing, is just trying to get in the playoffs. Once you get in the playoffs, anything can happen."
(Roy Oswalt, via Nationals Journal, 6/1/2010)
If Roy Oswalt would really consider a trade to the Nationals, the only question remaining for Mike Rizzo is: "Who do you want?" Because that little problem of the $29 million remaining through the end of 2011 is no problem, right Mr. Lerner? We're having a hard time compiling a list of untouchables in the system at the moment. Help us out.
Get it done, Rizzo!
Meanwhile...MLB sided with Oswalt over umpire Bill Hohn after Monday's ejection.

Derek Norris. Jordan Zimmermann. Of course the obvious ones like Strasburg & Storen don't need to be mentioned here. Seems like open season otherwise.
