« Bryce Harper looks good in a Curly W cap | Main | Flores Para Los Muertos? »

August 18, 2010

There is never a sure thing in Baseball, particulary when one is speaking of one game. Marquis might find his mojo (assuming there is any to find) and Halliday might uncork a stinker.

Not too quick with the hook. Something that no one seems to realize is that managers and pitching coaches like to pull a struggling pitcher out of a game on a positive (i.e. with the lead) when they're trying to build back confidence. A one run lead after allowing three consecutive base runners in the 6th is as good a time as any....Using Peralta in a one run situation like that, well that's something worth criticizing.
