(Bryce Harper during Saturday's Arizona Fall League Final. Screengrab of TV by Nationals Enquirer staff.)
Nationals prospects did the organization proud during Saturday's Arizona Fall League Championship Game, and maybe most importantly -- nobody suffered a career-ending injury in the ensuing dog pile following Scottsdale's victory.
Watching the game on MLB Network, one couldn't help but notice that Bryce Harper's warpaint look is back. Although not nearly as exaggerated as the full-on warpaint during his JUCO days which inspired a new generation of Little Leaguers, Harper's face painting was address by Nats GM Mike Rizzo after Harper was drafted by #1 last June: when asked if Harper would be allowed to wear his warpaint with the Nationals, Rizzo answered with a "no" .
So, is Bryce Harper's warpaint back for good?

well he got away with it for the AZ Fall League, but no way he's allowed to paint his face when he makes his major league debut with the Nationals in June! :)

The kid hits .343/.410/.629 with a 1.039 OPS against the best prospects in the majors, and all you want to do is kill him for his eyeblack?

if I'm a starting pitcher and a rookie comes up to bat with the warpaint on = fast ball to the ribs.
