And so, Mike Rizzo's search for that elusive "top of the rotation" starter ended yesterday with the acquisition of a middle of the rotation starter. And we're not complaining -- the more the merrier.

Yesterday, the Nationals traded three prospects (Michael Burgess, A.J. Morris, and Graham Hicks) to the Cubs for 28-year old left hander Tom Gozelanny. We'll leave it to the experts to debate the merits of the trade. We're on board.

Now, relive the magic from Arpil 2008, when the Pirates held a Tom Gorzelanny Bobblehead night, and said bobblehead appeared to be flipping the bird to Pirates fans. Maybe Andy Feffer and the Nationals can hand out a similar bobblehead to Nationals fans during the new and improved and exciting middle-of-the-week on a work day kid-friendly NatsFest March 30th?

The NatsFest decision is a head scratcher for sure. But no way the Lerners would spring for bobbleheads for the event, they're even cutting payroll this year!!!
