Nationals sign Oliver Perez to minor league deal
Mike Rizzo failed to sign a #1 starter in the offseason. So he settled for signing a wreck who's still being paid like one by the Mets. Does this mark the beginning of Phase 3?
*shrug* Okay, bring on Ollie. Perception be damned. At least the Mets are footing the $12 million bill. Released by the Mets on Monday, salvaged by Jim Bowden Mike Rizzo on Wednesday.

Are the Nationals are still holding auditions for the Racing Presidents? Because that's the only way Oliver Perez will step onto the field at Nationals Park in 2011, God willing.
