According to sources with no knowledge of the situation, Bryce Harper has decided quit baseball. Harper, originally slated to start his professional career with Nationals single-A affiliate Hagerstown Suns, will reenroll in highschool in Las Vegas instead sources say. "I'm actually really excited about taking shop class," Harper reportedly told an anonymous source.

I understand doing it because of the greater earning potential from having a real HS diploma instead of a GED, but it's selfish of him to abandon his team for personal gain.
