Maybe 40, 45 games is a reasonable amount of time to figure out something is totally wrong. But it sounds like Adam LaRoche's shoulder is really, really effed up.
And it seems Mike Rizzo might have some 'splainin' to do to Mr. Lerner for his latest $15 million purchase of damaged goods? Required reading: Adam LaRoche's Shoulder - A Timeline (via Past a Diving Vidro).
At the moment, LaRoche is looking at a 15 day stint on the DL for a torn labrum. But according to MLB.com's Bill Ladson, LaRoche has a "large tear in the labrum and some tearing in the rotator cuff." Hmm. That doesn't sound good. In other words: See you in 2012?
