Bryce Harper extends his hitting streak to 18 games with a home run

So, just two days removed from extending his hitting streak to 16 games on Jersey Shore Night in Hagerstown, Bryce Harper extended his hitting streak to 18 games on Saturday on the Jersey Shore against the Lakewood Blueclaws with a seventh inning home run. He finished up 2-4 for the game.

Now, throught 34 games (122 AB), Harper is hitting a meager.393/.468/.705/1.173 with 9 HR and 31 RBI.

Promote the kid to...anywhere else already, Rizzo!
