Question: "Davey, can the Nationals make the playoffs this year."

Davey: "Most definitely."

Translation? F*%k Yeah.

Another notable quote: Why he wants Pat Corrales to be his bench coach?

"Because (he's) older than me, and I won't be the oldest guy on the staff."

Davey's thoughts on managing today's players vs. players 10, 15 years ago?

"It's no different. Probably the only difference now is they have a chef now in the clubhouse."
