Perhaps looking to change his luck after a mostly disappointing start to the first of seven seasons in Washington, Jayson Werth showed up mostly clean-shaven for Tuesday night's game with the Mariners: His beard is gone. Baby-faced Werth led off the first inning with a single - later made an error.
