...and just in time for the arrival of Shake Shack to Nationals Park, Ryan Zimmerman is set to return from the DL on Tuesday.
No big deal, right Ian Desmond?
"It’s going to be huge for us. That’s our three-hole hitter. That’s the face of the franchise. That’s pretty much the Washington Nationals. He’s that guy. He can answer a lot of our questions. Just his presence alone, I think, will kind of build everybody back up. It gives us kind of that second wind to know that help’s on the way."

The last time we saw Zim on the field in a Curly W lid, the Nationals were 2 games under .500. 27 wins, 31 losses later, Zim returns with the team 6 games under. Thinking back to some of Jim Riggleman's lineup cards over those 58 games, it probably should've been much worse, yet thanks to pitching and defense, the Impossible Dream of a .500 finish remains a possibility.
Now, no more pointless head-first slides, okay Zim?
