Words can't properly do justice to Strasmas: June 8, 2010, so we'll fast forward one year to the present.
In a conference call with reporters Tuesday night, Strasburg provided an update on his rehab (he's up to 3 BP sessions a week, 30-40 pitchers per session -- all fastballs). Here's Stras talking about Strasmas, via Nationals Journal:
"I haven’t thought about it much, to be honest. It was an amazing experience but it’s kind of foggy now. I’m really focused on living in the now. I have a lot of work ahead of me. My goal to get back to 100 percent and get back [to Washington] and fill up the stadium like I did on that day."

Here's more Stras (via Washingotn Times), on when the Nats will rescue him from Viera:
"I can't tell you how much longer I'm going to be in Viera, it's not my call. It's been going very smoothly so far. I've been on schedule, everything feels great and that's all I can really focus on right now. The Nationals are going to have to make a decision at some point on when they want to send me up and it's going to be their call."

Get well soon, Stras...no rush...
