(Make that: The Scott Boras Quartet. At least four people who have signed their lives away to Scott Boras appeared on the dais at Nationals Park on Tuesday. From left to right: Mike Rizzo, Alex Meyer, Anthony Rendon, and Brian Goodwin. And of course, Scott Boras himself. Screen grab via MASNSports.com.)
“To actually have an earthquake to make us feel at home; I don’t know how the Lerners do it."
(Scott Boras, joking, via Nationals Journal, 8/23/2011)
And so the Nationals introduced their new trio of Scott Boras clients to the adoring public today -- well, make that the media, because the adoring public was stacked up outside Nationals Park waiting for the gates to open because of that pesky earthquake. (Also, let the record show that it was just supposed to be a press conference, so the adoring public was not invited to begin with.) Boras provided the earthquake jokes and updates on Bryce Harper's hammy. Oh, and he also talked about Rendon, Meyer, and Goodwin. Here's video of the proceedings, via MASNSports.com.
Meanwhile, Scott Boras thinks that Pudge Rodriguez should stay with the Nationals. And so Pudge will be back with the Nationals for at least another season. Maybe seven.

When is Lerner just going to bring Boras on officially as a Partner? He has more connection to the future of the Nats than anyone not officially on the payroll.
