"I'm just going to go out there and try to finish strong, have some momentum going into next year."
(Jordan Zimmermann, via CSNWashington.com/Nats Insider, 8/23/2011)
And so Jordan Zimmermann's 2nd to last start of the 2011 season went in the books last night as a loss; done in by one mistake and no run support. Another solid line for J-Zimm: 6.1 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 4 K, 1 HR. One more start Sunday in Cincinnati.
And with a successful (meaning: healthy) post-Tommy John season nearly complete for one half of the dream Strasburg-Zimmermann 1-2 combo, anybody else wishing we could just push the fast-forward button on the rest of 2011 and jump ahead to Viera in February?

More importantly, why does he have TWO JDub bobbleheads in his locker?
