Even weirder than Jayson Werth's sideburns last night at Sun Life Stadium? The sight of Todd Coffey walking in from the bullpen instead of sprinting in the seventh inning. And then he gave up the go-ahead run. Did Coffey provide an explanation to reporters later? WTF, Todd?
You can already smell the MASN promo for next season: "Were you there? When Todd Coffey walked in from the bullpen against the Marlins? Nationals. Marlins. Be there"
Not to say that you aren't often funny but THIS was funny! I think it's just that I can hear the Nats promo exactly as you wrote it! Hilarious. But seriously, what was the deal with Todd Coffey and the casual entrance?
