...but Steve McCatty wouldn't put it past him:
"With him, I’m not sure."

Apparently the radar gun was running hot last night at Roger Dean Stadium; in the second inning, Baseball Jesus struck out Giancarlo Stanton on a 3-pitch sequence with fastballs clocked at 101, 103, then a 76 MPH hook. The Washington Post's Adam Kilgore reported that Stras's fastball was actually more like 94-98 over 3 innings. Strasline: 3.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R 1 BB, 2 K, 1 HBP, 4-3 groundouts-flyouts. But his third innning, and fielding, were shaky, but no worries:
"I felt good. I was commanding my pitches a lot better [than my first start]. I just have to do some PFP [pitchers fielding practice] tomorrow and adjust off of that. Besides Reyes striking the ball, it felt good. It's coming along."
