Busy, busy, day for the Nats on Thursday: a strong start from Edwin Jackson, Adam LaRoche hit AND ran, and more roster moves than you can shake a stick at. And then there's Steve Lombardozzi: three more hits yesterday in the Nats split squad win against the Tigers, starting at 2B on this day. Lombo has 19 hits on the spring, hitting a healthy .328, but whatever you do, don't think Davey is trying to make him a utility guy:
“I’m kind of giving him a crash course in utility. It’d be one thing if I was trying to make him a utility player. I’m not. I’m trying to give him experience at different spots for a need that might come up on the team.”

How about Super Utility Player?
