Just two games into his Big League career, and the Bryce Harper Quote Machine is off an running on overdrive. To recap, after Saturday night's heartbreaker, Harper reacted to Kemp's walkoff HR with "That sucked. Seeing him hit a bomb, that was terrible."

Asked about his patient approach to his 9th inning AB, stepping to the plate representing the tying run with 2 outs?

"I wanted to hit a bomb, for sure."

Of course he did. Instead, what he did might have been even more impressive...he worked a walk.

Heck yeah! That walk was very impressive -- all amped up, getting some junk and heat, and some close (but not quite borderline) pitches.

Of course we all would've loved to see a HR, but gotta concur, that BB was super impressive!
