Nationals 4, Red Sox 3 (Sunday): Back-and-forth and back again. Bryce Harper reluctantly rides the pine with a bad back; of course Harper pinch hits, walks, hustles and scores winning run (from first) on Roger Bernadina's double in the 9th. Tyler Clippard saves another (7th).
Nationals 4, Red Sox 2(Saturday): Gio shuts down Sox until the 7th - Davey gives him a quicker hook than Strasburg. Desmond, Morse, LaRoche provide just enough offense. Tyler Clippard saves another (6th).
