What better way to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the shocking day Jim Riggleman quit as manager of the Washington Nationals than with the classic photo above of Riggleman drowning his sorrows that night with some young ladies at Caddies in Bethesda.

What a difference a year makes; that the team had its head above .500 in late June last year was cause for celebration. They've come a long way in a year...

I tried to listen to Riggleman, but I too quickly remembered that I really don't care what he has to say.
