Remember a few weeks ago, when MASN's F.P. Santangelo caught a foul ball in the TV booth? Bob Carpenter did the same in the 9th inning Thursday night in Milwaukee. Best of all, Carp threw the ball to a kid in a Nats jersey:

I know some people don't like Carpenter and some of his expressions (i.e., "jammage"), but I think that he and F.P. work really well together and I enjoy listening to them. And it was awesome that he threw the ball to a Nats fan.

Carp can be frustrating in play-by-play but he's a pretty good guy.
That being said, I try to get the radio and TV in sync when I can. It is easier on the road.

"Jammage" was a Dibble-ism that Carp picked up, a sad reminder of that failed partnership.

YOU CANNOT IMAGINE THE DELIGHT THROWING THE BALL TO OUR GRANDSON, ZACGARY, BROUGHT TO THIS 11 YEAR OLD. THAT IS HIS UNCLE BILL WHO IS TAKING HIM TO 19 PROFESSIONAL GAMES, ZIG - ZAGGING THROUGH THE MID WEST AND THEN BACK TO D.C. THANKS SO MUCH FOR HELPING HIM TO MAKE HIS DREAM COME TRUE.
