And so, after the worst soul crushing loss in the brief history of the Washington Nationals on Friday night, followed by a lifeless loss in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader which cut the NL East lead over the Braves to a flimsy game and a half, the Nationals turn to John Lannan -- back in the fold for a day from his exile in Syracuse.
