And so, on Tuesday, Mike Rizzo and Davey Johnson set the record straight on their little Sunday shouting match in Philly:
"It wasn't our first discussion, and it's not going to be our last. There's nobody with a higher respect level for Davey than me. I love the guy. [It was] two passionate baseball guys that give a darn. ...That's how we do things. We get things in the open. There's great communication between the two of us and there's a high level of respect."

Thomas Boswell's piece on the spat is certainly worth your time. Wonder if there were any more "discussions" last night, after the Nats lost their fifth straight, and saw their lead drop to 4 in the NL East after the Braves won?
