And so, after a 2 hour, 33 minute rain delay, Jayson Werth hit a bomb to center field to tie Saturday's game at 6 in the ninth inning and send it to extras. Upon his return to the dugout, Werth got a double-bubblegum bucket shower and a new tousled hair style from Michael Morse for the effort.
Oh, and the Nats won it 7-6 in the 10th on a Corey Brown walk-off dropped fly ball.
