NLDS Game 3: Cardinals 8, Nationals 0. Nothing to cheer about. Unfortunately, the first playoff game in D.C. since 1933 resembled too many of the regular season games played in D.C. between 2008-2009. The not-so-good Edwin Jackson showed up, not that it mattered.
Update: the game is over, but the Nationals reportedly just stranded another runner in scoring position. 11 LOB on this day.
Boy, the Nats really could use Stephen Strasburg's bat...

Your last line about Strasburg's bat had me initially worried that you were jumping on the "we'd be winning if Stras were in the rotation" bandwagon. Alas, I applaud your comment - yes, we'd use anyone's bat at this point. Maybe Davey will take a few swings tomorrow?
