Ian Desmond got his first hole in one today, said it was better than a walkoff

And so, while you're sitting around waiting for Adam LaRoche to sign a 3-year deal with some team not named the Washington Nationals, enjoy the video above of Ian Desmond's walkoff home run against the Diamondbacks back on May 2. Doesn't get much better than a walkoff, right?

Not so, Tweeted Desmond today after his first ever hole in one today on hole #13 at the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota:

"Thank whole number 13 at the ritz Carlton members golf course Sarasota fl for allowing me to make my first ever hole in one > walk off."

Wait, > walk off!?
