In an interview on 106.7 The Fan DC on Tuesday, Nats reliever Craig Stammen discussed expectations for the upcoming season with Holden Kushner and Danny Rouhier:
"Our manager has definitely already came out and popped off saying that if we don’t go to the World Series it’s going to be a disappointing season...Our goal is the same as every other team’s should be and that’s to win the World Series."

Ok, so we're all well-versed in the perils of increased expectations, but what about square dancing at weddings? Here's Stammen (audio here, too):
Stammen: Where I'm from, it's like a big tradition. That they have some square dancing music going on, and everybody knows how to do it, too.
Danny: How is your square dancing. Like, 1-10
Stammen: Mine? It's a little rusty, but it's probably about an 8. I know what's going on.
Holden: Do you know how to do-si-do your partner? Can you do-si-do your partner?
Stammen: Oh yeah, I can do-si-do my partner just fine.
Holden: Can you do the calls? You know the guy who does the calls? ...
Stammen: No, I don't know how to do the calls. There's like a couple guys you hire to...come and do all the...sing and do the music...
...
When you're in like, 5th Grade. In grade school, I remember for PE class, one of the days was learn how to square dance. I remember being so mad because I wanted to play, like, dodgeball or basketball, and we had to do square dancing. I guess they were just getting us ready for all the weddings we'd have to go to in the next 10 years.
How many days until Opening Day?
