I want to play already! Can't sit here and watch my boys out there! Miss being on the field! #DLsucks— Bryce Harper (@Bharper3407) June 12, 2013
So Bryce Harper Tweeted his feelings about the DL Tuesday night (it sucks). Also, Harper got cortisone and PRP injections during his visit with Dr. James Andrews on Monday. Also, earlier in the day, a photo of Harper in a knee brace taken in the airport in Atlanta on Monday night was all the rage. Also on Monday, Scott Boras came out and told the Washington Post Harper had "no operative procedures" during his visit with Andrews, and Nats head trainer Lee Kuntz told reporters that the knee is structurally sound. Via Nationals.com:
"We checked out via MRI his knee and it's structurally sound," Kuntz said. "Everything's good, all the ligaments are intact. No cartilage damage, nothing like that. It's soft tissue in the bursar that's inflamed."
More good news: Detwiler to return Thursday, Strasburg to return Sunday.
