While you were sleeping, Nate McLouth made a fantastic sliding catch in the 8th inning of Monday night/Tuesday morning's 4-0 win by the Nats over the Dodgers after a 3+ hour rain delay in a nearly-empty Nationals Park. There's the video above, complete with radio play-by-play. McLouth left the game after hurting his hand and knee on the play, but after the game Matt Williams told reporters McLouth would be OK, which probably means he'll spend at least 15 days on the DL the way injuries go with this team.
Just imagine the criticism if a certain Nats left fielder who also plays like his hair on fire and is currently on the DL with a thumb injury had done the same thing?
