There it is above, nightmare fuel for Nationals fans: Jordan Zimmermann calling for trainers after throwing his 53rd and final pitch of the night in the fourth inning. Watch the full sequence of the video on MLB.com here. Zimmermann shook his hand a little before waving to the dugout for help, then winced and grabbed his side.
We were afraid to speculate on what the injury might be in hopes that it was just an elaborate plot by Zimmermann to skip out on the All-Star Game. After the game, Matt Williams told reporters it was a biceps cramp. Zimmermann to have an MRI tomorrow:
