On Sunday, Bryce Harper attempted to break his bat over his knee after striking out. It didn't work out so well, as seen in the video above. Harper is 4-24 with 10 strikeouts in seven games since returning from the DL.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Matt Williams told the media he believed Harper was showing signs of breaking out of his seven game funk:
"He looks better, his timing is a little better. It’s a process, man. You take that much time off, it’s difficult to maintain timing. I think he’s starting to see it a little bit better, he’s a little calmer at the plate. The results weren’t there, but standing in the dugout watching, he just looks calmer. He looks like he’s seeing the ball a little bit better."

Maybe the real sign of progress will be when Harper can successfully break his bat over his knees?
