It had to be you: Nats bring back Livo on $900,000 minor-league deal, loaded with incentives*.
The fact that Livo is immediately a favorite for one of the three remaining rotation spots (after Lannan and Marquis) is saying something. Well, at the very least, Rizzo got that second veteran arm he was looking for. Hey, and Livo's an innings-eater! And isn't that what 2010 is all about: just getting through those pesky 1,458 innings standing in the way of 2011?
*Our sources tell us the incentives include all-you-can eat half-smokes (all the way) from Ben's Chili Bowl and ice cream from Gifford's at Nationals Park.
