Thanks, Mr. Angelos!
Offdays are bad enough. But once again, in lieu of a game, MASN went with Orioles Classics tonight. Oh yes, it's April 6, 1992 again, and the opening of brand-spanking-new Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Chris Hoiles. Mullets. Joe Orsulak. Grunge. Rick Sutcliffe on the mound for the O's. Jon Miller doing play-by-play. And of course: ESPNNews all night on MASN2. Welcome to NatsTown.
We can be reasonable and accept using O's Classics as a lead-in to tonight's 10:05 Orioles-Giants game on the West Coast. But would it kill MASN to throw Nats fans a bone every now and then and air, say, one of the many Zimmerman walkoffs (take your pick) on MASN2 when the Nationals have a day off? Or, better yet: maybe show Strasburg's debut again? And again. And again. MASN suits might want to consider putting that one on tape loop.
What's a Nationals fan gotta do to get some love, Mr. Angelos (psssst...check your ratings!)?
Meanwhile...
Surprise! Stephen Strasburg named NL Player of the Week.

Suck it, Nats Town!

So long as Angelos is drawing air or until he is ruled legally incapacitated, this isn't going to change. This also goes for the Orioles inept front office and my personal cheering for the Orioles.

Karma's a bitch for the Orioles. 17-47 and they still owe Brian Roberts nearly $40 million through 2013, and Mike Gonzalez $12 million through next year.
Seems the more they try and impose their lame team on us, the more they dig themselves into a hole with bad coaches and awful contracts.
