(This work of telestrator art by Ray Knight is called "Here comes the Sun". Picture of TV/MASN by Nationals Enquirer staff.)
During Friday night's Nationals-Braves broadcast, Ray Knight graced MASN viewers with another example of Ray Knight Telestraor Art in the bottom of the sixth inning. Knight was talking about the effect of drawing the infield in, describing the gaps that open up for hitters. And he drew a beautiful sun.
With just nine games remaining in the 2010 season (including Friday night's game), the clock is ticking for Ray Knight to prove to the Nationals -- and less importantly, MASN? -- that he should be brought back as color man to team up with Bob Carpenter in 2011. Assuming he wants the job, of course. With that in mind, Nationals fans may have precious few chances left to view Ray Knight in action with his telestrator on MASN. Cherish these moments, NatsTown.
He's come a long way with his telestrator pen. For reference, please refer to the first installment of the Ray Knight Telestrator Adventures, and the sequel, in which he drew a lightning strike.

Ha ha, would love it it Ray drew a big middle finger if he finds out they aren't bringing him back next year!

Personally, I like Ray Knight, he is an ex big leaguer and does a good job.
