Ryan Zimmerman can't save Wizards from blowing first game of the post-Gilbert Era
The Face of the Franchise of the Washington Nationals was in the house at Verizon Center Saturday night, watching the now Gilbert-less Wizards blow a late lead and lose in gut-wrenching fashion against the Heat in the final seconds. Sadly, Mr. Walk-off couldn't save the Wiz with any late-game heroics. And sadly, Zim is all-too-familiar with seeing a promising lead go up in smoke at the end of a game.
Strange couple of days for the sports teams around town, huh? Hate to ask the question, but what's next?

Look on the bright side: at least Brian Bruney and Joel Hanrahan weren't involved.

You guys had to ask "what's next?" and got your answer quickly: Greinke shot down a trade to the Nats using his No Trade clause. What's next?
